At Abbey Lawns we are totally committed to providing the highest standards of nursing care combined with quality of life.

Residents individual preferences and needs are catered for. They are encouraged to proactively engage in decisions about how they wish to live their lives. The home has a dedicated staff who are responsible for activities and events on a daily basis.

The homes offer single bedrooms with communal bathroom facilities, as well as rooms with en suites. Lounge, dining facilities, reception and a courtyard support a strong feeling of community.

We also have entertainers who visit on a regular basis, and trips to local theatres, tea parties and places of interest in our mini bus. The home has residents’ committee and produces a newsletter, to which staff, visitors and residents can contribute.

The matron and all the staff of the home are dedicated to ensuring our residents are cared for in a professional, affectionate and skillful manner. Through them the home has achieved a lovely caring atmosphere making it not ‘just another nursing home’ but a true ‘home from home’.
